Photography Based Therapeutics (PBT) is transforming mental health care by moving from words to visuals. Our research-led, clinically tested method helps young people capture emotions through images on everyday devices. These visual diaries become a safe outlet for self-expression and a structured, evidence-based record that clinicians can act on sooner. By giving children a stronger voice, PBT reduces waiting list pressures, supports SEND inclusion, and builds healthier image culture as an alternative to harmful social media trends. Within three years, we aim to support 10,000 young people, free up 20,000 clinician hours, and prevent hundreds of crises. With integration into NHS platforms underway, PBT offers a simple, scalable, and cost-saving solution that empowers young people, families, and services alike.
