Physician Practice Guidance focuses on small and medium size physician practices, providing billing and coding audits and negotiating payer contracts. Physician Practice Guidance evaluates the practice and its payer contracts based on where they are now, and works to bring their negotiated rates to the current reimbursable range per CPT code. It focuses on the frequency with which CPT codes are billed and the highest reimbursed codes. All of that is on the revenue side. It also performs retrospective audits to evaluate trends in denials to increase reimbursements, improve the completeness of clinical documentation and coding accuracy. It is dedicated to protecting physician interests as if those interests were our own. That is what sets it apart. It offers to negotiate payer contracts for physician practices, as well as coding and compliance solutions. Physician Practice Guidance's goal is to solve a provider's problem, not sell a product. The road to developing the skills I offer physicians began 20 years ago. My background is unique. I am a healthcare attorney, am certified in professional coding (CPC-A), medical auditing (CPMA), risk adjustment coding (CRC); fraud examination (CFE), healthcare compliance (CHC), and in internal audit (CIA). I was formerly an Assistant US Attorney and formerly senior counsel to the Office of Inspector General-HHS. My healthcare skillset is comprehensive and addresses the needs of providers. My coding experience, coupled with my solid negotiating skills, provide physicians the ability to obtain the services they need from one source.
