Physiotherapy Pilates Proactive (PPP) opened by Rachel Combe in September 2003 with the its state-of-the-art Pilates Studio and adjoining treatment rooms at Stirling. PPP uses and advocates a self-management approach to rehabilitation from musculoskeletal pain and injury. The Pilates exercise program goes hand in hand with this approach, and our many happy clients attest to the results. Passionate about self-management, our qualified and highly experienced physiotherapists use Pilates expertise and the McKenzie Method of diagnosis and treatment to empower clients by teaching them exercises and strategies to help treat and control their conditions. This approach, focusing on long-term solutions rather than quick-fixes, prevents further flare-ups and educates clients about the cause of their pain. Building on its beliefs, PPP is one of the first SA practices to offer its clients the unique Pink Pilates program, which was developed in New Zealand and is especially designed to improve quality of life, wellbeing and overall health of individuals undergoing and recovering from treatment for cancer through gentle exercise and physiotherapy. Physiotherapy Pilates Proactive also offer a wide range of services including hands-on physiotherapy treatments for pain and injury, Real-Time Ultrasound, Women’s Health, Headache Treatment, Dry Needling, Cranio Sacral Therapy, Pregnancy care, Pilates Mat classes and Men’s Pilates Classes.
