About Pi Kappa Alpha Alpha Rho

Pi Kappa Alpha is a fraternity focused on developing men who we deem to be scholars, leaders, athletes, and gentlemen. Our vision is to set the standard of integrity, intellect, and achievement for our members, host institutions, and the communities in which we live. The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity was founded at the University of Virginia on March 1, 1868. The Alpha Rho chapter of Pi Kappa Alpha was founded at the Ohio State University on March 29, 1912. The chapter focuses on improving the local community through philanthropy events, including our main event, The Rivalry Run, where brothers work together with the University of Michigan chapter to raise money for The James Cancer Research Center. In 2018, the Alpha Rho chapter raised over $15,000 for the cause.
