Hey this is Jake, I'm a Brisbane based, 20-something DP telling stories through my gaze. Cameras were always around through my teen years, and seemed to follow me through every hobby I was into. I started off shooting medium format film, and eventually, I got to the point where I bought my first digital camera and took any jobs I could to fuel my newfound gear-lust. Working closely within the film and photography industries over the last 5 years has given me a lot. Every job, I made new connections, continued developing my shooting style, and kept investing into myself until I could begin shooting full-time. After years of working for others, developing my identity as a DP, planning and rebranding,'Pic & Roll Productions' is the culmination of my development over the years into one production house. Specialising in commercial, narrative and editorial pieces, the work we do is careful, curated and refined. We take pride in taking time through all stages of production to get the most out of every shot. As a content production company, our top priority is to bring the ideas of our clients to life. Every shoot, we aim to add every little detail possible, and take our time to make sure we get the perfect end product. We're constantly developing our productions, and nurturing the growth of our clients to make sure each shoot is better than the one before.
