Pieces of the Past was founded in 1992 in Kentucky as a wholesale company providing high quality hand made products to local businesses. In 1996 operations were moved to Auburn Alabama and expanded into jewelry components eventually selling worldwide to thousands of customers. In 1998 Pieces of the Past purchased the domain piecesofthepast.com and created the online platform for the online wholesale business. Pieces of the Past invented and patented several products which were sold wholesale to business around the United States. The wholesale part of Pieces of the Past was sold in 2008 to a similar company in California and the high quality hand made products line were converted to a local business called Arwen's Child. Arwen's Child can be found at https://www.etsy.com/shop/ArwensChild and Pieces of the Past still owns the original domain name founded at the time the company was created.
