The Pierse Group is a leading Property Developer and Building and Civil Engineering Contractor operating in Ireland. Established in 1978 by Mr. Ged Pierse as Civil Engineering, Building and Marine Contractors, the Pierse Group has continually expanded to its current level of turnover, which exceeds €500m per annum and currently employs almost 600 people. As one of the largest contracting companies in Ireland, Pierse makes a critically important contribution to the economic life of Ireland. Our operations cover a scope of activities including property and residential development, building contracting, civil and marine engineering, as well as specialist areas such as piling and foundation engineering, fit-outs, refurbishment, clean room engineering, demolition and marine outfalls. Pierse is publicly committed to putting health and safety first on all of its projects as well as minimising the impacts of its activities on the environment. Through a set of formally documented systems, a structure is provided for managing environmental, health and safety hazards. These systems are aligned and form our integrated ISO 9001:2000, OHSAS 18001:1999 and ISO14001:2004 - Quality, Safety and Environmental Management System (QSEMS). In April 2005 Pierse became the only Contracting/Property Development company in Ireland to receive accreditation from the NSAI for its innovative integrated management system.
