About Pilgrim Welfare Centre

What do we do? 1. Afterschool Care Programme We assist children (Grade R-10) with homework after school, subject choices and career guidance. Extramural activities include a reading club, spelling bee, public speaking, beauty pageantry, dancing and computer literacy. 2. Elderly Care Programme We have 19 registered beneficiaries on this programme. We focus on their physical and mental well-being. They do physical exercising 3 days a week, sewing and beadwork. 3. Community Development Programme We give food parcels, toiletries and clothing to the community monthly. We have a soup kitchen twice a week. 4. Learning programmes *Basic computer skills, reading and writing, entrepreneurship and office administration.
