In 2022, Cassie decided to launch Pine State Publicity after seeing a gap in press visibility for independent books and small press authors. She believes publicity can be innovative and affordable at once. She is booked for clients in 2022, but looking forward to working with authors on their book releases in 2023. While her day-to-day as a literary agent is very much associated with the sales side of publishing, her heart and soul is in the fiery hunger and fierce possibility of independent publishers and striving writers.
