Our purpose-built innovation offers our clients a unique solution for deliveries within 1 hour or at a pre-selected timeslot, combining the best possible digital experience with a world-class delivery service. At Pingo, we partner with our clients to create solutions that suit their exact requirements and our software and platforms ensure our clients’ customers enjoy a superior on-demand customer journey and experience. A web service integration connects our clients to various delivery options (motorbikes or light delivery vehicles) and back-office customer support service. Our delivery network is supported by the Customer Operations department, ensuring deliveries are completed no matter the circumstances. Businesses with their own customer apps, can integrate directly into Pingo’s fulfilment solution. This ensures clients retain 100% of its customer data, while providing best-in-class last mile delivery. Pingo (Pty) Ltd was formed in May 2022, through a joint venture between Shoprite Group and RTT Group, in which both parties own 50%. The partnership followed the rapid growth of Shoprite’s pioneering on-demand grocery solution, Checkers Sixty60. Checkers Sixty60 is a grocery consumer app, which gives customers the ability to place an order via the app, have the order fulfilled and delivered within 60 minutes. The RTT last-mile enablement solution was built with Sixty60, as part of an ecosystem of solutions. To further enhance and grow this ecosystem, Pingo was created as a separate company providing a full spectrum of on-demand solutions. Pingo has grown beyond just servicing and supporting Sixty60 and now works with a variety of businesses who require on-demand delivery services.
