Pink Chai was formed back in 2013 when Director, Mohammed Asif, visited a friend in India and tasted their homemade Chai, which was rich in flavour and was their own family recipe. Asif knew that there was a market in the UK for ready-made Chai, with the hassle of sourcing the right tealeaves and brewing to get the right balance of flavours being off-putting for many. A ready-made, authentic Chai product wasn’t something that existed at the time, leading Asif to ask for the family recipe and create Pink Chai, the real Kashmiri Chai that has grown to be a household favourite in the UK ever since.
