About Pioneer Learning Trust
Welcome to the Pioneer Learning Trust. We extremely are proud of our growing Trust and all that we have to offer to our pupils and the wider educational community. In the Pioneer Learning Trust we have a common vision – to pursue excellence and equity in a values-based context. To us, this is a commitment to ensuring that all children have the opportunity to excel, and do so in an inclusive, values-based ethos where diversity is celebrated. We are much more than a group of schools, we are a committed family of dedicated professionals collaborating to inspire our pupils with an exceptional learning experience. Our ambitious Trust currently consists of three larger than average primary schools – Chantry Primary Academy, Southfield Primary School and Whitefield Primary Academy. We have more than 1,600 pupils and over 300 staff, each of whom is a unique and remarkable individual working within our harmonious educational community. Serving diverse communities with high levels of disadvantage, our school leaders, teachers and support staff are focused on redressing the inequity experienced by too many of our pupils, ensuring that all pupils maximise their potential. Standards in our schools are good and improving, and progress is excellent. Pioneer has an outstanding track record of improving schools, with a National Support School at its heart, which has supported a number of schools in moving from Requires Improvement to Good. With the support of our strong central team, we aim to grow the Trust over the next few years, expanding within our local area of Luton, Central Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Buckinghamshire and beyond.
