Pip & Pantalaimon - vintage and retro inspired lingerie and shapewear for pin up beauties and rockabilly queens the world over. As seen in the BBC series Peaky Blinders! Designed and created in the UK by Pippa Smith, we focus on fun, aesthetic designs inspired by vintage and retro fashion and culture. We strive to achieve beautiful yet functional pieces with a great fit, using the best quality components and sustainable materials to give a vintage feel and strong support. We believe gorgeous lingerie should be for everyone! We’re proud of our broad size range; offering UK sizes 8-22 (US 4-18) in all our styles, and bra sizes up to a G-cup. We design, develop and create all of our styles in house in our countryside studio an hour outside of London. Keeping our manufacturing process in house means we can ensure we meet our own high standards of craftsmanship in every Pip & Pantalaimon garment as well as guaranteeing safe and fair working conditions. Our pieces are made using genuine mid century industrial sewing machines and vintage construction techniques wherever possible. Our signature curved Zig Zag stitch, which is used on every one of our garments, isn’t possible on modern machinery, only on our genuine 1950’s machinery. We see vintage inspired fashion and lingerie as an ongoing development, designing and making process and so we don’t create conventional seasonal collections. Instead we see where the sketchbook takes us and develop new styles as and when we find a great fabric or sketch a new shape.
