To say the least, paralysis is daunting, as it deprives an individual of his or her perspective and aspiration. Learning this first hand, we established PIPEdreams & ConQUESTs; aimed to develop self-derived inner perseverance by providing guided mentoring, education, employment, recreation, opportunity and resources for people with disabilities. In an effort to keep the spark of re-inventing ourselves alive, PIPEdreams & ConQUESTs (PIPE-QUEST) is looking to help those in tragic circumstances find a new path in life. Our goal is to provide the support and resources needed at the early stages so that individuals can become self-sufficient, self-motivating role models who pay-forward the help they received by helping and inspiring others. This peer support model has been in place (albeit not as formalized) for decades. The karma-forward model will transcend boundaries and ideologies to establish a worldwide community of positive minded, forward-focused role models to help those in tragic circumstances.
