About Pipeline Dance Training
Directors Emily Bufferd & Tracie Stanfield Pipeline Dance Training was founded to serve as an elevated resource for aspiring dancers looking to master their craft, refine their technique, and transition into the professional dance world. With an emphasis on education, integrity, and mentorship, Pipeline provides a space where dancers can grow as artists while receiving the tools necessary to build successful careers. Pipeline Dance Training is open to dancers ages 17 and up, offering them the opportunity to study five days a week in midtown Manhattan. The curriculum is designed to combine technical training with artistry-focused workshops and industry-specific seminars, covering every aspect of a dancer's career from auditions to professional conduct. Program Highlights: * Daily Technique Classes: Ballet, Modern, Jazz, Theatre Dance, and Company Technique. * Workshops: Artistry-based sessions focusing on performance quality, personal style, and expression. * Industry-Specific Seminars: Sessions on the business of dance, audition preparation, and career development. * Mentorship: Regular one-on-one sessions with leading industry professionals. * Company Rehearsals: Learn and perform original choreography, working directly with choreographers and guest artists. Pipeline also includes a performance component through its in-house dance company, The Construction Company, where dancers workshop new works by Co Director Tracie Stanfield, refining their artistic identities while exploring dynamic and contemporary choreography. Tracie Stanfield, Co-Director, expressed the program's dedication to creating an environment that fosters growth and individual expression: "Pipeline is about more than just training—it’s about empowering dancers to find their own path and fully realize their potential as artists. We want them to walk away from this program knowing who they are as dancers and as professionals."
