About Pirate Life Brewing
Pirate life Brewing was established in 2014 by Jared ‘Red’ Proudfoot, Jack Cameron and Michael ‘MC’ Cameron, whose love for beer is rivaled only by their love of people. Our first beer, an 8.8% Imperial IPA, rolled off the line in February 2015, since then, we’ve become one of Australia’s most recognisable craft brands, with four venues and over two hundred employees nation-wide. At PL, we brew the beer we love to drink, and have a hell of a time while doing it. From hopped up IPAs and fruit sours to our flagship pale, South Coast, there isn’t much we won’t do in pursuit of the perfect pint. Our founding pillars of quality, ingenuity and mateship continue to drive us, from the brew house to the hospitality floor – to us, PL means more than good beer, it’s a way of life... And we wouldn’t have it any other way.
