About PISTOS Designs

Our Vision: To see young people be true, authentic and faithful to who God has made them to be. Our Mission: To champion and empower young people to be their authentic selves through merchandise which communicates a deeper meaning. We are a family from Port Macquarie situated on the beautiful Mid North Coast of New South Wales, Australia. Through PISTOS Designs, we hope to create an authentic brand which has meaning and an identity - something we and others are proud to wear. The word ‘PISTOS’ may sound like a strange name for a clothing company, but we chose it because it has profound roots. It comes from the Greek language and means faithful, trustworthy or reliable. In a world that’s changing all the time and filled with disappointments, we believe PISTOS Designs speaks to our identity and desire for something - someone - we can trust no matter what. It isn't just a brand, it's a movement - a movement of people who have an itch to see the world be a better place for all! PISTOS is also a word which describes who God is - faithful and trustworthy. We have found in our experience that most people’s perception of church is often associated with the idea of judgement, both from God and those who call themselves Christians. So with our first release we wanted to present the message of Jesus who came to bring love over judgement. It’s just the beginning of more releases to come that will communicate other important and awesome truths - stay tuned! Our hope is that, like us, you will be proud of wearing the brand PISTOS - a brand that prides itself on being authentic to who we are: faithful, trustworthy and reliable.
