Pitch Creator’s mission is to help create jobs by teaching entrepreneurs how to communicate with investors/lenders and raise capital for their businesses. We do that through our “education platform,” which is a combination of our website, free resources, online courses, presentations, workshops, and related services. We are focused on creating jobs in geographic areas that need them the most, so we prioritize helping entrepreneurs who: • Are raising capital for the first time • Do not have the networks and advantages of CEOs who are in Silicon Valley or similar areas • Are not backed by professional investors Jason Tagler founded Pitch Creator in 2014 to support job creation in the Baltimore area. Since then, Pitch Creator has expanded to online courses used by CEOs/Founders, colleges/universities, investors, and incubators/accelerators. The Pitch Creator volunteer team has expanded significantly as well. Mr. Tagler has 16+ years of experience investing in private companies of various stages (angel, seed, venture capital and growth-equity) and has seen over 1,500 founder/CEO pitches. Early in his career, he provided investment banking advisory services to CEOs who were preparing to either sell their companies or take them public through an IPO (initial public offering).
