Pixon Imaging, Inc. develops image-processing algorithms and implements them in hardware capable of processing video images in real time. Our products are used in military, homeland security, surveillance, and scientific applications. Headquartered in San Diego, California, Pixon Imaging was founded to develop software and hardware products based on the patented Pixon Method for deblurring and denoising images. We have since expanded our technology base with additional proprietary algorithms for contrast enhancement, dehazing, and noise reduction. While we focus on real-time video image processing in particular, our technologies are equally applicable to still-image and off-line video processing. A spin-off of Pixon, LLC (which is now an IP holding company), Pixon Imaging was incorporated in California in 2006. We are the exclusive licensee of the Pixon method for military, security, microscopy, compression, commercial video, and other applications.
