About PJ Margo (P)
Founded in 1992 as a joint venture between the Jaipurias and WR Grace, PJ Margo Pvt Ltd. was the WORLD’s FIRST commercial scale extraction facility for Azadirachtin, a bio-pesticide from Neem. Eventually the shares owned by WR Grace was bought by Certis USA, LLC a subsidiary of Mitsui, Japan. PJ Margo has been manufacturing and supplying Azadirachtin technical and neem oil to its national and international customers for over 20 years. In 1998, PJ Margo launched Margo Bio Controls Pvt. Ltd. as a subsidiary to develop the market for organic and eco-friendly crop protection products based on formulations from neem. Over the last decade, several other products were added to the portfolio including microbials, bio-pesticides and bio-stimulants. PJ Margo has entered into supply chain partnerships with leading Fertilizer and Agrochemical companies to supply products under their label in efforts to help them increase sales and margins from their existing distribution network. Most of Margo’s products are certified organic by Institute of Marketecology (IMO), Switzerland, an EU accredited certifying agency and is approved for organic farming under the NOP, NPOP and JAS protocols. Today, PJ Margo is looking to build on its portfolio and offer eco-friendly crop protection solutions to farmers in India and overseas via its own distribution and through those of its partners and customers.
