PLANET MAPLE INC. Company Profile How did they do it? Planet Maple Board Shop has been open for almost 4 years in the inner city and still growing! Owners William Lamar and Cedric Bell started this shop in 2006 on Adams blvd. They just recently moved to Washington blvd near the 10 freeway and Labrea Avenue. This move has greatly increased the visibility of the shop with increased foot traffic and a larger number of vehicles passing by the shop. The shop is located directly across the street from the Nate Holden Performing Arts Center an up and coming Venue that is the home of the Ebony Rep Theatre group. William and Cedric are avid skaters, surfers and snowboarders, and have just recently brought on 2 new partners. David Iniguez came aboard a little more than a year ago. David is an avid Surfer and skateboarder; he has a passion for getting kids from our community out in the water and on skateboards. Steven Vasquez the newest partner has come on board to help steer the shop to the next level, Steven has a few small businesses in the community and is very excited about the potential of Planet Maple Inc. Where are we going? Planet Maple Inc is well positioned to grow in leaps and bounds due to the popularity of the Extreme Sports movement! Our target market is the inner city youth ages 9-20 as well as adults ages 21-35. We have chosen the inner city to expand our shops because we have discovered that our services are much needed and welcomed by the community. We offer all the top name products in the industry from DGK, Element. Fallen, Plan B, and Nike 6.0, all at reasonable prices. The mission of our business is to sell products that offer superior value, outstanding quality and the best prices. We intend to fulfill this mission by giving extra effort to customer service, and addressing the neighborhood needs.
