We train retirement fund members and others to enable them to manage their own retirement and wealth planning. Our passion lies in empowering people to develop their own clear road map to a financially secure future. What makes us different is that we provide no products or advice and therefore are not tainted with bias of any kind. The financial services industry is so complicated and has so many conflicts of interest that knowing who to trust is quite a challenge. We try to instil a healthy scepticism in all who go through our training. Our training is much more than a collection of financial facts. Our role is to help individuals understand the underlying issues in ways that make sense to them and which give them a frame of reference to guide them for the rest of their lives. By understanding the basics people develop confidence that they can manage their financial affairs competently and soon learn how to differentiate between advice that adds value and advice that does not! We have developed simple tools that allow people to draft their own plans and keep track of their own investments in practical ways. With over 20 years of experience in this field of education we have developed our material to meet the needs of the individual. Feedback continues to be used to improve our offering. The three Certified Financial Planning professionals who are involved are not registered as Financial Service Providers. We thus have no conflicts of interest to taint our message, and offer a very high standard of technical knowledge! Perhaps the best comment that we can offer is that our corporate client list includes Anglo American, SASOL and AECI amongst others.
