SD Planning is a specialist town planning consultancy. Based in regional Victoria we offer effective planning solutions all over the state. We take understand all facets of planning; and offer both statutory planning /development approval, as well as specialist policy writing and planning scheme amendment support. Local Government and Agency support: • Strategic Planning— including Processing Planning Scheme Amendments; • Strategy Writing and Policy writing. Including encouraging cross organisation collaboration and providing guidance to Local Government and Organisations on strategy implementation; • Planning Policy Development and refinement; • Delegate report writing to assist Councils with reducing 'back-log' and improving processing times; • Planning Scheme reviews including development of work plans; • Process improvements – provides advice, research and assistance for Service Reviews, or process improvements on internal systems within a Planning Context; • Advocacy – we provide advice and will act as an advocate or expert witness at VCAT and Planning Panels Victoria; and, • Engagement – is able to design and facilitate stakeholder, internal stakeholder and community engagement processes • Councillor education and assistance to understand or navigate the Planning Scheme. Development Approval/Statutory Planning for Proponents; • Providing advice and undertaking a range of development proposals, implementation & processes • Site Selection – Assisting new businesses with site selection and identifying opportunities based on planning policies of Local or State Government • We support a range of developers and businesses to achieve planning approvals within PSP and growth areas.
