About Plans to Reality
After 18 years in strategic marketing and business development roles for a major international chemical company, Graham Haines established his consultancy in 1987 to provide consulting services to the private sector on management and strategic marketing. The foundation of the consultancy is the belief that the quality of the advice provided is heavily influenced by the quality of the information upon which it is based. This has led to the development of four proprietary survey instruments covering executives, employees, customers and workgroups. Executives The Executive Management Survey measures the degree of consensus among the management team on a comprehensive list of issues that impact organisational performance. It works on the premise that Organisational Alignment at the top of an organisation underpins organisational performance. . Employees The Employee Feedback Survey measures the performance of management from an employee perspective. It also measures Employee Engagement but acknowledges that the latter is a dependent variable largely in the hands of senior and middle management. Customers The Customer Feedback Survey provides my client with a quantitative Customer Satisfaction Index supported by qualitative explanation. It also quantifies the presence or absence of competitive advantage. The feedback is highly reliable as the participation percentage averages 94%. The feedback is used to enhance organisational performance at both a strategic and operational level. Workgroups The Towards Ten Thousand workgroup performance accelerator measures how well members of the same workgroup work together and in collaboration with other workgroups. These feedback surveys are a key element of the Wagon Wheel Way Enterprise Operating Platform, a unique model that integrates the complete operational cycle from planning and execution to monitoring, measuring adapting and revising.
