About PLASTFREE
We are a Surrey based organic period brand started by Anushka & Abi. After learning that 90% ingredients of leading brands contain plastic and period products are the fifth most common ocean polluters they decided to address the problem at the source. Two years ago after switching to organic period products, Anushka was not satisfied so she decided to design a sanitary pad that could contain heavy bleeding, be completely biodegradable, chemical free in all layers and yet be affordable. Also, do away with plastic applicator tampons by swapping it with cardboard applicators and making the product with 100% organic cotton. These changes to the core products not only offer consumers an alternative sustainable option for single use period products but also doesn't contribute to the plastic pollution problem. They wanted to be the change they wanted to see and live consciously. As, plastic has no place in our your period.
