About Platinum Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Group
Platinum Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation Group was founded in 2015 by Anita Connors, Mike Connors, Chad Greene and Andrew White. Our mission is to provide personalized, high-quality, evidence based care in a friendly and inviting environment to St. Margarets Bay, Upper Tantallon, and the surrounding areas. We are proud to be locally owned and operated. We are a full-service physiotherapy and rehabilitation centre comprised of experienced physiotherapists who believe in working with our patients to optimize their recovery in all stages of life. Our physiotherapists believe in providing comprehensive health care services to our patients in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. We also believe in educating our patients as we work with them to achieve their rehabilitation and health goals. Each of our physiotherapists is licensed by the Nova Scotia College of Physiotherapists and comes to our practice with greater than 10 years of experience. In addition to physiotherapy, we are pleased to have Dr. Tim El-Tahan MD, FRCSC (Orthopedic Surgeon) holding his clinic with us 1-2 days per month. Dr. El-Tahan will be evaluating for the need of surgical management options and/or injection therapy. This service can significantly reduce the wait times for patients who would be willing to travel to the Aberdeen Hospital for any surgical procedure if indicated. Dr. El-Than has special interest in knee and shoulder surgeries, arthroplasty, as well as joint replacement surgeries.
