At Platypus, our mission is to turn as many aspiring authors as possible into actual, successful ones. Most self-publishing companies encourage quantity over quality – but we love both. We believe that everyone is capable of writing a life-changing book if they dig deep enough. Books are the precursors to cultural change (leaders are readers – and their ideas shape society). Traditional publishing is broken – and our goal is to forge a new path that inspires first-time authors instead of intimidating them. Everyone who wants to write a book, can and should be able to (with our help). Our flagship product is the Punchy Books Accelerator – a “souped-up” online course (with added personalized elements and support) – with over 2,000 students worldwide (and $2mm+ revenue in its first six months). Our goal for 2023 is $10mm+ in revenue and 10k+ happy students.
