Play Hard Sports Equipment (PHS) is a premium outdoor sports equipment supplier. As an entrepreneur Trevor Bowman is an avid Basketball player and founded OzRing Pty Ltd out of the frustration of the number of damaged and broken rings at local school's courts in his area. That led him to design a heavy-duty Basketball ring that could withstand the riggers of hard play basketball. When other Basketball players saw the ring, they asked if one could be made for them. With the amount of interest for the robust rings followed the inquiries for more innovative products, such as Backboards etc. The company moved from New South Wales to Burleigh Heads Gold Coast in 2000, where it remains to this day. As a business PHS has a clear focus to supply the most innovative sports equipment products available in sports field and sports facility construction. To this day PHS designs manufacture and produces some of the world’s best-designed sports assets. The most widely broadcasted asset of late is the IAAF accredited Thor Hammer Discus cage displayed at the recent XXI Commonwealth Games Gold Coast Queensland event - during 11 unforgettable days of world-class sporting action. And in terms of how PHS do what they do, they understand there are three key challenges that their clients experience: 1. They struggle to get high quality well made sports equipment at an affordable price. 2. They don’t have time to call around and price products. 3. They know that creating a high-quality professional presentation every time is crucial to the increased business.
