About Playing CBT

Founded by Shelly Zantkeren (M.A. in Educational Counseling, a Behavioral-Cognitive therapist, Schema therapy) Over the years, while serving as a therapist in different settings, I have noticed that the best way to get children to open up to me and share their inner world was always through playing, arts and crafts or other fun activities. This led me to develop tools (games, forms, books) to help therapists. Originally I've created the game to help with my own work, but then realized that it can help others. "Playing CBT" - is a game that helps develop awareness of thoughts, emotions and behaviors for improving coping skills and enhancing self control. It helps players cope with emotional challenges such as emotional regulation, anxiety, self-control and social skills.
