About Plaza Travel
The Orens family purchased the agency in January 1985, at which time it had a staff of 6 and 3 computer terminals. In October 2005, we completed our sixth expansion in twenty-five years and rank among the nation's top travel agencies. We have achieved this, not by acquisition or merger, but by gaining and retaining new clients and travel agents. Our family is actively involved in the daily management of the agency, providing our clients the benefit of hands-on owner involvement. Our sales volume and size grants us tremendous buying power and influence with airlines, hotels and the numerous suppliers of travel. It is our daily mission to provide unparalleled service as we strive to go the extra mile for our clients. Among our corporate accounts are both local and regional offices of medical firms, entertainment and production firms, law firms, sports teams and a multitude of business travelers who have found, through experience, that a strong, independent agency like Plaza Travel can provide much greater personal travel management service, cost savings and added value amenities, than a branch of a large national firm or a small, local agency.
