I have developed applications with Xojo (a cross-platform IDE with Visual Basic like syntax with C# based Class/Object structure), FileMaker Pro and Delphi in Object Pascal. Xojo is my preferred environment but I work very well with FileMaker. I have extensive experience on both the macOS and Windows platforms. In fact, Xojo can deploy to both macOS and Windows from a single code base. I have managed large projects with multiple developers for Mainframe systems and have been a "one-man" project team doing everything from Requirements Gathering, Database Design, Application Design, Coding and Testing. I managed a company section of up to seven Programmer/Analysts and support staff with a budget of over a million dollars ( 1990 dollars). I have worked extensively with IBM Mainframe systems running OS, DOS/VSE and VM(Virtual Machine), CICS, SQLDS ( the VSE version of DB/2). I wrote and maintained programs in COBOL, PL/1, Fortran, RPG and ALC (System/360 Assembly Language). File systems included ISAM, VSAM and SQLDS. I was also the Database Administrator for the SQLDS system. I managed the Systems Development staff a defense contractor and had a government secret security clearance. I managed the required programming changes and JCL rewrites for a migration from an IBM System/360 running DOS to an IBM 4361 system with DOS/VSE and VM. This system later became a tandem processor system with two 4361s. I have experience with the now defunct Datapoint Computer systems which were the first real microcomputer system that was appropriate for business applications. Datapoint proceeded the release if IBM PCs.
