POINTERS is the organisation for the Prevention of Infection New Technologies Expertise & Research Society. We are bringing together healthcare practitioners, solution providers, researchers and people who have been affected by infections. Our aim is to promote best practice in the areas of infection prevention, detection and control. We are not for profit organisation that covers healthcare, pharmaceuticals and food industries. Based at Medicity in Nottingham, which is a collaboration between Boots and BioCity, also, it is an incubator designed to provide a stimulating and supportive business development environment for innovators in consumer healthcare, medical technology, diagnostics and beauty products. We deliver information of new developments to enable our members to be at the forefront of their profession. Keeping up to date with new technological breakthroughs in the area of infection prevention, detection and control.
