About Points North Theatre Company
Points North Theatre Company began as UpStage Theatre, which was founded as a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization in 2000 to provide family-friendly theatre to the Houston area. The theatre became well known for its years of productions of dramatic and comedic stage favorites, presentations of new scripts, the annual Festival of Comedy, and its annual Summer Musicals. In 2019, the board of directors and artistic director decided to rebrand as Points North Theatre Company and move up to The Woodlands area north of Houston to bring its decades of experience to new audiences. New name, new location, same great theatre! Points North offers a children's series, evening series, and theatrical education programs.
