About Polaris Academy
Polaris Academy is an innovative educational institution dedicated to providing individualized learning experiences for students with autism spectrum disorder and neurodiversity from 1st grade to 8th grade.. With a focus on academic excellence, social skills development, and emotional well-being, Polaris Academy strives to unlock the full potential of every child. Polaris Academy was designed to serve autistic and neurodivergent students. The building itself incorporates architectural supports specifically for a sensory conscious population such as: adaptive lighting, sound dampening finishes, acoustic sensory nooks, transom windows, and muted finishes. The Polaris academic model is also unique combining traditional teaching methods with support from ABA, speech, and other therapy trained staff providing our students with a holistic approach to education and development. We have also designed areas for students to experience real world application of academic concepts in our Stem Discovery Center, Culinary Lab, Student Business Store and Intentional Play Gym so they experience education in a fun and hands-on way.
