In 1999, Vladek Juszkiewicz, LA resident, film industry professional and an immigrant from Poland established the one and only Polish Film Festival Los Angeles. Since then the Festival grew into a well recognized, community-based international event. Today, under the leadership of the current Director, Marek Dzida, artist, LA resident, an immigrant from Poland, the festival continues the tradition of presenting Polish films in Hollywood. Every year Polish films created by well recognized directors and also by film entrepreneurs, students, and experimenting artists are part of the permanent repertoire for LA audiences.
