We're building nature's stethoscope. Ecological challenges scale, but traditional ecology doesn't. We build world-class AI systems and deploy cost-effective field camera systems so that ecologists drive per-sample costs towards zero. We believe that long-term, macro-scale, continuous monitoring is the key to enable a mechanistic understanding of the interplay between ecosystems and the environment. In a rapidly warming world, this can't come soon enough. Our mission is to enable data-driven, targeted ecological interventions-- before it's too late. Our founder, Caleb, has been working to automate ecological research since 2019. A mediocre scientist but a great engineer, he decided to dedicate his career to making ecologists 100x more effective. We understand firsthand the challenges of camera-based research and the rigor required for serious science. We work at the frontier of AI research so that you don't have to.
