Independent Children’s Book Publisher ~ Where fine art hugs fine print We are an independent publisher dedicated to creating inspiring, beautiful books to be treasured and loved by children, young adults, and the young at heart. We consider our books to be works of art, finding inspiration in time-honored traditions while re-imagining publishing in the technological age for young people. We recognize that through our publications we become teachers to the world, a role that we accept with great humility and sense of responsibility. ABOUT US As a mother-daughter team, we closely collaborate on all facets of the creative, educational, and publishing process with an eye for what is nurturing, delightful, and affirming. Representing 40 distinguished years in the fields of art and education, over 30 combined years of entrepreneurship, and over 10 years of marketing expertise, together we are uniquely positioned to share our skills, passions and experience for the greater good while encouraging others to do the same. Virginia is a statewide and national award-winning Artist Educator with a Master of Fine Arts Degree and a Ph.D. She has taught all ages from PK-12, to college and adults. Julie is a Phi Beta Kappa college graduate with expertise in marketing and also working with children.
