Polonus is the national coach operator providing passenger transport services in regular communication of local, long-distance and international. The strategic Polish carrier, being a State Treasury company, services nearly 40 lines, connecting major urban and tourist centers with Warsaw. Polonus' services - based on transport bases in Warsaw, Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki and Piaseczno - benefit over 2 million passengers annually. The offer of the leading Polish carrier is aimed at people who want to travel comfortably, safely and at attractive prices. Polonus has a continuous sale of promotional ticket pools at prices of PLN 5, PLN 10 and PLN 15, and provides discounts up to 30% on a return ticket or a fixed 50% discount for children and students aged up to 13 years. Western Station, from where national and international connections are carried out, is the largest bus station in Warsaw and one of the largest in Poland. The Company, as the first on the market, developed an innovative ticketing system (ISSB), which makes it easier for customers to buy tickets over the Internet. Apart from its basic activity of public transport on a regular bus service basis, the Company offers its clients hostel accommodations. Polonus employs approximately nearly 300 drivers, and uses a fleet of 157 modern coaches.
