POLYFLY is a Spanish start-up company founded in 2017 in Almería, at the heart of the European horticulture industry. With POLYFLY our goal is to bring back biodiversity where it is most needed, and we do so by proposing alternative natural pollination solutions for seed production and greenhouse cropping. POLYFLY flies are especially effective for demanding greenhouse cultures including hybrid crops. Since traditional pollinators such as bees and bumblebees do not perform well at extreme temperatures and can show high discrimination they do not meet the needs of all protected crops. Thus, POLYFLY flying solutions can be used additionally or alternatively to traditional pollinators as well as other artificial pollination strategies. Our pollinators are easy to implement and they will help you increase the yields and market value of your vegetable/fruit seeds as well as the end products. POLYFLY es una empresa española fundada en 2017 en Almería, en el corazón de la industria europea de la horticultura. Con POLYFLY nuestro objetivo es devolver la biodiversidad donde más se necesita, y lo hacemos proponiendo soluciones alternativas de polinización natural para la producción de semillas y cultivos en invernadero. Las moscas de POLYFLY son especialmente eficaces para cultivos en invernadero exigentes incluyendo cultivos híbridos. Dado que los polinizadores tradicionales, como las abejas y los abejorros, no funcionan bien a temperaturas extremas y pueden mostrar una alta discriminación, no satisfacen las necesidades de todos los cultivos protegidos.
