The implementation of such solutions on forklifts enables the handling of materials in every kind of environment and gives the user the chance to be assisted during a number of operations. Polytec Intralogistics aims to make robotics a service to humans, focusing on the development of technologies that provide the robot with the possibility to recognise the surrounding environment and distinguish between fixed and moving obstacles, people, and walls. The company also designs sophisticated algorithms for the movement of vehicles based on innovative real-time planning techniques. These technologies allow the robot, on the basis of environmental assessments, to autonomously navigate in complex environments even in the presence of unexpected obstacles and physical impediments, always keeping human safety as a priority.
