About Porthill Plumbing & Property services

I have been in the Construction Industry for 30yrs, working on New Build property sites and also occupied houses. I have also been a Supervisor over 15+ plumbers co-ordinating their work and also overseeing their work/projects, ordering materials, liasing with builders/contractors etc. The last 8yrs I have been self-employed and this is where I have been able to balance work between the New builds and the occupied houses. I have worked for a number of Letting Agents over this time doing work such as new installations, repairs, servicing, Landlord Certificates etc.. I enjoy my work both as a self employed plumber/gas engineer and also as Owner and 1st team manager of Bradwell Belles Ladies FC. I have ran the club for 18+yrs and we have a Junior section along with a Ladies team. Although I do this as a volunteer I find myself out of the house 3nights a week along with most weekends. It gives me a great opportunity to meet new people every week and broaden my horizons. Having gained various qualifications through this work as well, I feel that this gives me satisfaction helping others. At the end of every season, we have a presentation evening where we reflect on the teams season and give out awards for their achievements, we also run various fundraising events through the year which gets everyone in the club together. At the fund raisers and presentation nights I will stand in front of as many as 250+ and give them a run down of what the club has achieved and what the club is preparing for the new season ahead.
