Established in 1988, Portreath Bakery started out as a family-run bakery outlet in a small coastal village in Cornwall. In 33 years the bakery has expanded to supply local supermarkets, high-end hospitality clientele and nationwide food suppliers. In 2018 managing directors, Marion and Pete expanded the business to accommodate a high-care gluten free production facility, allowing production to expand and accommodate for allergens, as well as developing one of the world's first gluten free traditional Cornish pasties.
