About Posh Dog Press

Posh Dog Press is an independent UK publisher founded by Daisie Lane in 2022. The startup was partially funded by Arts Council England with a mission of encouraging, nourishing and projecting the creativity of Mothers, a demographic often overlooked by society and left at the bottom of the list. It is our belief that writing can be a powerful tool for tackling the growing maternal mental health crisis that the pandemic has left us with, so we will continue to strive to create a movement of #writingthroughmotherhood We have a particular interest in writing about the subject of motherhood itself, particularly alongside maternal mental health and feminism. By exploring modern motherhood with honesty and humour we can smash stigmas and tackle taboos. We encourage truth, raw emotion, uplifting stories and bold voices. We want to amplify the voices that society typically allows to become quiet. We also recognise that we are more than motherhood, and we have so much more to say, so we are open to brilliant writing by mothers, whatever the topic
