About Positive Guidance

Our mission is to provide foster and at-risk youth the opportunity to participate in sports, educational, cultural, and community enrichment programs and to encourage our youth to graduate high school and attend college. We will provide safe, secure, and fun recreational and educational experiences. We believe in providing exceptional after-school and young adult independence programs for children and young adults ages 5-24. Our goals are to help build confidence and self-esteem. To encourage youth to say 'no' to gangs, drugs and violence and 'yes' to hope, learning and life. To enhance and enrich the lives of children as they become young adults. To help them find careers that they love and give back to their communities while working as a team toward common goals It is our purpose to help each child develop to the best of his/her individual ability and to provide an atmosphere in which the child can learn to share and be both a supportive member of a team and a team leader.
