In Spring 2017, the government are introducing the Apprenticeship Levy. The Levy is a compulsory pay roll tax for businesses with a pay bill of over £3million. If you’re a levy paying employer, you will need to pay 0.5% of your paybill to fund apprenticeships. However, you will benefit by taking on and training apprentices, while working with an approved training provider, like us. The government will top up your levy funds by 10% and there are also other incentives available.
