Potomac Oak Tutoring (Potomac Tutoring LLC) offers a variety of high quality tutoring services, including SAT/ACT preparation, school subject tutoring, and college application services. Test Preparation: We have a time-tested approach to SAT/ACT preparation. Whether you sign up for a class or for one-on-one tutoring, you’ll have an opportunity to work with tutors who specialize on different sections of the SAT. School Subject Tutoring: The philosophy of Potomac Tutoring’s subject based tutoring is built around specialization. For each subject, we employ a tutor who has both teaching experience and a strong background in his/her field. Working one-on-one with students or in small groups, tutors can either clarify or supplement material being taught in school, or prepare students for an upcoming class. We offer a wide range of personalized tutoring in all of, but not limited to, each of the following subjects through the AP and college levels: • Algebra I/II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-calculus, Calculus (AB & BC) • Chemistry, Biology, Physics (AP, Hon, & Reg) • U.S. History, NSL, World & Euro History • Public Speaking and Debate College Application Services: Many students believe success on the SAT is the main factor in getting them into a choice college.
