Pottsville Broadcasting Company (PBC) offers broadcast radio on T-102 and A-106. PBC annually creates 8,000 copies of a 112 page, full-color local high school football guide with team schedules, coaches write-ups and ads from local advertisers. We create full-color ads for the football guide as well as ads for our sports website, t102sportsnow.com. PBC also creates a local podcast (The Little Things) covering subjects from how to dress and prepare for a job interview to very emotional subjects such as placing a loved one in assisted living and mental health. PBC has always been at the leading edge of technology. We installed computer automation for on-air and commercial production in the early 1990’s. Far sooner than many major market radio stations. PBC is also one of the first broadcast companies to incorporate AI voices into on-air DJ roles as well as commercial voice-work. However, PBC keeps locally originated programming AND local DJs as a major source for community connection. PBC uses technology to enhance what our local on-air talent can do to connect with our community.
