About Poured Soul Art

As a fluid artist, I utilize painting as a meditative process to aid in personal healing. Graduating Cum Laude from the BAC, I realized early in my projects my thought process was different. At some point, it became more about the study of emerging social activity, community, culture & relationships and collaborative communication; Not just the physical space, but the intellectual as well. It became less about steel beams & sized lumber, and more about people’s wellbeing & their reactions to the existing built environment. This theoretical playground sparked an enormous burning passion in me for causing people to pause; creating awareness. My art makes people stop and think for themselves from a place within. A place the mind can’t quite comprehend but your soul understands. They speak the same language. The effect causes an authentic reaction toward the artwork, not a conditioned one, but one from your soul. As a unique artist, my art intends to reflect life and how everyone has their own form of reality. Except in today's society, the difference in opinion almost always leads to conflict. My pieces start a dialogue that allows people to respect someone else's point of view through art. They're more willing to listen, more open to suggestion, and even willing to make an attempt at seeing eye to eye.
