About Powder Metallurgy Co
Powder Metallurgy Company was founded by Larry Bobo in Carrollton, Texas in 1973. The firm originally shared quarters with a heat-treating firm in a drafty tin building. It was a great arrangement in the winter, but during the Texas summers there were ample excuses for sales calls on customers with air-conditioned facilities! By 1980, Powder Metallurgy Company had outgrown its space. The firm was re-located to its current location northeast of Dallas (Lewisville), increasing the floor space by 400%. Our success in delivering superior PM parts begins with out team of highly-trained & experienced people. We work as a team providing “hands-on” supervision for every Powder Metal project. We start by listening to our customers needs and analyzing each application. This results in a thorough understanding of the project parameters. Then, by coupling the latest CAD and FMEA technology with our extensive PM capabilities, a cost-effective manufacturing solution is achieved.
