About Pownal Street Press
Since 2022, Pownal Street Press has been a hybrid publishing company based in Charlottetown. Focusing on the best of both worlds, PSP offers two platforms: the best in traditional publishing as well as a full package for clients who want a custom publishing solution. We provide end-to-end support for nonfiction and picture book clients, and partner with authors to create distinct books that serve their own markets, all the while working with our distributors to offer retail sales distribution to our customer base, whether that’s in Canada or in the US. Inspired by the iconic Charlottetown side street, Pownal Street is a charming mix of modern and historical. Our press is also symbolic of the evolution of the publishing industry. The mission of Pownal Street Press is to discover, amplify and empower storytellers, and we seek to broaden the publishing landscape with a diverse collection of topics. Pownal Street Press produces beautiful nonfiction titles, and illustrated works of art and story for children. Pownal Street specializes in memoir, self-help, mental health and wellness.
